The Samsung HS50 is a midrange multi-purpose diagnostic ultrasound system designed to cover a wide range of applications including OB-GYN, abdominal, pediatric, small parts, neonatal cephalic, adult cephalic,, trans-vaginal, musculoskeletal (conventional, superficial), urology, adult and pediatric cardiac, and peripheral vascular.

The HS50 uses Samsung’s innovative imaging engine and single crystal transducer technology to deliver superior 2D imaging in a wide range of clinical applications.

NeedleMate+ ensures precise needle targeting when performing commonly used intervention procedures. Beam Steer allows the linear ultrasound image to be steered and improves needle visibility when the angle of insonation and the needle are perpendicular to each other.

Auto IMT+


Auto IMT+ is a screening tool to analyze a patient’s potential risk of cardiovascular disease. It allows easy intima-media thickness measurement of both the anterior and posterior wall of the common carotid with the click of a button. This simple procedure enhances exam productivity and adds diagnostic value.

HS50 incorporates single crystal technology. Employing an innovative crystal design, S-Vue™ transducers provide more efficient piezoelectric properties, resulting in wider bandwidths that enable better penetration and higher quality resolution on even challenging patients.
