PRODUCT DETAILS

The Zeiss Primo Star Microscope from Zeiss is a four-objective binocular instrument featuring a modular sub-stage illumination drawer. This microscope's Seidentopf viewing head enables quick interpupillary distance adjustment using an intuitive push-pull motion. Quick interpupillary adjustments complement the inclined viewing head's ability to rotate 360°, allowing the view to be shared with others without moving the microscope. The Primo Star iLED microscope is well-suited for the classroom and laboratory due to its user-friendly design, wide magnification range, and color-corrected infinity optical system from Zeiss.

Carl Zeiss would like to present a new generation of teaching microscopes with the biomicroscope Primo Star. It is a microscope specially developed for continuous operation and durability. It is robust, innovative and has an ergonomic viewing angle. In the Primo Star, the entire Carl Zeiss know-how in the field of optical microscopy has been brought together and applied exclusively to the field of teaching.

The Primo Star is available in ten different configurations. For every need there is a suitable model for teaching, in the laboratory, in the doctor's office or in the field. In addition, there are many useful accessories. This is the real ZEISS.

The digital classroom:

Interconnect all microscopes in the classroom with a scope tube with integrated high-definition streaming camera and the iPad Labscope app.

Connect the microscope to a high-resolution monitor or projector.

Share images and videos directly with all students.

Clever details add to the flexibility of the system:

You can choose between a 30W halogen or energy-saving LED light source.

Batery power can be used in areas with unstable or even no electricity.

The addition of a fluorescence tube turns it into an LED fluorescence microscope.

We recommend the Primo Star for use with the Imaging System MC50:

The Primo Star is a well known international brand of biomicroscope with a high price tag. In order to ensure the quality of Primo Star's imaging or image acquisition, we recommend using Primo Star together with our high-end microscope camera MC50, which can make Primo Star get more perfect results in microscopic imaging.

The MC50 professional digital imaging system uses an imported Sony ICX282 Progressive Scan Interline CCD sensor with real-time preview function. 5 megapixels combined with 36BIT color depth can capture high quality microscopic images. In order to adapt to the application of low light, the cooled MC50 can effectively reduce thermal noise during long time exposure, MC50 is the ideal imaging equipment for bright and dark field, DIC, live cell imaging, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence, near infrared observation, etc. The USB digital interface makes the installation easier and more convenient, you only need to connect your computer to the camera with a USB2.0 cable, and at the same time, simply install the supporting driver and our image acquisition software to realize the preview and image acquisition. Image acquisition software can realize preview and image acquisition, video acquisition.

MC50 Features:

Adopt high resolution CCD for high definition images;

Real-time preview and focusing, full field (Full Filed) image refresh rate up to 25 frames per frame, higher image refresh rate when ROI is selected;

Adopt USB2.0 interface, easy to carry and install;

Standard C-MOUNT interface, no need for a separate adapter;

Sony ICX282 Progressive Scan Interline CCD.
