@Specim FX50 is a high-speed, accurate line-scan hyperspectral camera designed for industrial environments, covering the full mid-wave infrared (MWIR) spectral range of 2.7 – 5.3 μm. It is ideal for sorting black plastics, analyzing hydrocarbons and minerals, and detecting contamination on metal surfaces.
#Specim FX series Hyperspectral cameras specifically designed for industrial machine vision, configurations are available for VNIR, NIR and MWIR. Designed for integration into inline systems but can also be configured for laboratory settings.
The Specim FX series consists of three models: the Specim FX10, Specim FX17 and Specim FX50. These highly reliable hyperspectral cameras cover wavelengths from visible and near-infrared (VNIR) to Medium Wavelength Infrared (MWIR). They are suitable for both laboratory and high-speed industrial machine vision applications due to their high frame rate, robust design, and ease of integration.

3 models of spectral cameras for VNIR (400 - 1000 nm), NIR (900 - 1700 nm), and MWIR (2.7 - 5.3 μm)
Integration on existing and new sorting lines
Non-contact and non-desructive optical method for a 100% imaging coverage
High frame rate camera for industrial speed requirements
Unified wavelength calibration between individual Specim FX cameras
There are 3 models available based on the hyperspectral data range to reveal:
Visible and Near-InfraRed area (VNIR), from 400 to 1000 nm = Specim FX10
Near-InfraRed region (NIR), from 900 to 1700 nm = Specim FX17
Medium Wavelength IngraRed region (MWIR), from 2.7 to 5.3 μm = Specim FX50
