Integrated Workflow: An integrated workstation with a 500GB hard drive allows for patient data access, image/video capture and recording, and report generation without additional software.
Mount Units: Securely place the HD-550 processor and HDL-500X light source unit onto the designated shelves of the mobile cart. Ensure proper ventilation around both units.
Connect Power: Connect the power cables to the HD-550 processor and HDL-500X light source, then plug them into a grounded power outlet.
Connect Monitor: Connect the monitor to the HD-550 processor using the appropriate video output cable (SDI, DVI, VGA, or S-Video).
Connect Endoscope: Attach the endoscope to the HD-550 processor and the HDL-500X light source unit. Ensure the connection is secure and properly aligned. Refer to Figure 2 for a visual representation of the system setup.
Image Mode Selection
The HD-550 offers various imaging modes for different diagnostic needs:
White Light Mode: The default mode for general observation, providing highly illuminated and true-color images.
SFI Mode (Spectral Focused Imaging): A normal focus mode with enhanced vascular color, suitable for routine examinations.
VIST Mode (Versatile Intelligent Staining Technology): A boosted focus mode with increased mucosal detail, assisting in the characterization of lesions.
Switch between these modes using the dedicated buttons on the control panel (refer to Figure 4).
Image Adjustment and Control
Zoom: Use the zoom controls to magnify or reduce the image on the screen.
Color Adjustment: Adjust red and blue color levels in 12 steps, with +/-15 levels of adjustment.
White Balance: Perform auto or manual white balance calibration for accurate color representation.
Image Enhancement: Utilize auto/manual image enhancement and edge enhancement features for clearer visuals.
Water Jet: Activate the water jet function via the one-touch control on the endoscope for cleaning the lens during procedures.
Data Management
The integrated workstation allows for comprehensive data management:
Capture Images/Videos: Use the dedicated buttons on the endoscope or processor to capture still images or record video clips.
Patient Data: Access and manage patient data stored on the 500GB internal hard drive.
Report Generation: Create and edit reports directly on the system without the need for external software.
USB Export: Export data via the 3 USB ports. The system supports DICOM for medical imaging standards.
