1 General Requirement
1.1 Anesthesia machine with an integrated ventilator for an adult to pediatric and integrated airway monitor for airway pressures and volume.
1.2 The machine should have 3 power outlets with sockets.
1.3 With a working surface and top shelf.
1.4 The anesthesia machine, inbuilt ventilator, vaporizer should be manufactured by same company.
1.5 The system should have upto 2 Hrs. battery backup
2 Gas delivery system
2.1 Should have pin index yokes for Oxygen, N2O one each besides separate connection for Central gas supply for Oxygen, N2O, and Air
2.2 Should have O2, N2O, and Air pressure gauges for central supply as well as O2, N2O from cylinders.
2.3 The machine should provide 6 column-flow-meters; 2 flow meters for each kind of gas
2.4 Flow-meters range: O2 and N2O, 0 – 10 L/min; Air, 0 – 15 L/min
2.5 The system provides a minimum of 21% O2 concentration at all times utilizing an N2O/ O2 linkage
2.6 The system should be suitable to use at minimal flow upto 500ml fresh gas setting.
2.7 Emergency Oxygen flushes at 25 – 75 L/min bypassing the vaporizer.
2.8 In case of electricity and battery failure, manual ventilation, gas, and agent delivery should be possible.
3 Vaporizer
3.1 The machine should have the possibility to mount two quick mount type vaporizers for easy interchangeability, and safety with interlock facility.
3.2 Should be provided with Temperature/pressure/ flow compensated
3.3 Should be capable of connecting Vaporiser for Isofluorene / Sevoflourane / Halothane Vaporizer
4 Breathing System
4.1 The metal breathing system should be suitable for closed, semi-closed, and semi-open circuits
4.2 Should have adjustable pressure relief valve from 0 to 70 mbar. with fast release function
4.3 Should have changed over from Spontaneous to Bag ventilation with one key switch.
4.4 The system should have leak and compliance test
4.5 Minimum 1800 mL canister, easily detachable, transparent for better observation of soda lime
4.6 Should have an independent auxiliary common gas outlet(ACGO), with an outer diameter of 22mm and an inner diameter of 15mm. This outlet should be located on the front of the machine
5 Anaesthesia Ventilator
5.1 The system should have an inbuilt ventilator with Pneumatically driven and electronically controlled
5.2 Should not require changing of bellows for adult and pediatric
5.3 ventilation modes: IPPV,PCV,SIMV,PS/CPAP
5.4 Should have a standby mode.
5.5 Tidal Volume: 20ml -1500 ml
5.6 Breathing Frequency: 4 to 100 BPM
5.7 I: E ratio: 4:1 to 1:8
5.8 The pressure range: 5 to 70 cmH2O
5.9 PEEP: 0-30 cmH2O
5.10 Trigger sensitivity: 0 to -20 cmH2O or 1-15 L/min
5.11 Flow sensors should be non-consumable, not need to replace
6 Airway monitoring
6.1 Should have integrated touch screen of at least 8 inches
6.2 Integrated monitor for electronic monitoring and display of following parameters :
6.3 Tidal Volume
6.4 Minute volume
6.5 PEEP, Peak & Mean and Plateau airway pressure
6.6 Frequency
6.7 Waveform display for F-T, P-T synchronously
6.8 Loop display for pressure-volume loop and flow -volume loop;
6.9 FiO2 Monitoring
6.10 EtCO2 Monitoring (OPTIONAL)

9 Operating Environment
9.1 The system offered shall be designed to be stored and to operate normally under the conditions of the purchaser's country.
The condition includes Power Supply, Climate, Temperature Humidity, etc
9.2 Power supply: 100 – 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz fitted with the appropriate plug.
The power cable must be at least 5m in length.
