Cary WinUV for UV-Vis Applications
18 Kg
#Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer The Cary 60 UV-Vis spectrophotometer has a wavelength range of 190–1100 nm that can be scanned in under three seconds. Our versatile UV-Vis instrument can be fitted with long pathlength cuvettes and solid sample transmission or reflectance accessories, and is ideal for remote UV-Vis absorbance analysis, when fitted with fiber optic probes
The xenon source lamp has a 10 year replacement warranty (for Cary 60 UV-Vis instruments purchased from Agilent or participating partners), requires zero warmup, and causes no photodegradation of samples. Fast reactions can be recorded with 80 data points per second. The Cary 60 is well-suited as a routine UV-Vis spectrophotometer or for use in teaching labs. Optional 21 CFR Part 11 software tools are available.

Applications
Pharma and biopharma
In modern pharma and biopharma labs, instrumentation that meets current and future demand for accuracy, productivity and robustness is critical. The Cary 60 UV-Vis is ideal for routine (bio)pharma QA/QC workflows and R&D applications, from analyzing drug purity and API concentration to controlled-temperature measurements of proteins, monoclonal antibodies, nucleic acids, or other biomolecules.
Chemicals, energy, and materials
Cary 60 UV-Vis system versatility makes it ideal for many applications. The wide range of accessories extends the Cary 60 capabilities to accurately, reliably, and easily measure a diverse range of sample types. Rapid and remote measurements using fiber optic probes eliminate the need for cuvettes, reducing sample loss and user error and increasing productivity. The 18-cell changer allows for automated high-throughput analysis of liquids, including color or concentration measurements.
Teaching and research
The Cary 60 UV-Vis is the ultimate lab essential for teaching and research setups. In a multiuser setting, the Cary 60 is a robust and reliable system that prevents downtime and reduces the risk of compromised data. The system can be equipped with various accessories and sampling devices—including rapid mix and stopped-flow accessories—extending your UV-Vis measurement capabilities. The use of the Cary 60 is easy to learn—requiring minimal training—making it ideal for introducing students to the fascinating world of UV-Vis spectroscopy.
